A convivial, accommodating, and relaxing European retreat is the inspiration behind Kevin Grangier’s principal addition to Louisville’s culinary landscape – the Village Anchor and its sister bar the Sea Hag Pub.
Whether dining under the stars on the 60-seat Sea Hag Patio, or on the romantic iron-clad Victorian Lanai at the Anchor with Eartha Kitt and Frank Sinatra lightly crooning in the distance, Kevin Grangier and his excellent team guarantee your experience to be both unique and memorable, and your food eclectic and exceptional.
A village-focused European “roost” where a lively Parisian bistro greets the more traditional English pub – to accommodate any mood, and to motivate a tremendous dining experience!

The Village Anchor offers a number of areas suitable for groups of about any size. Our chefs can develop a menu perfect for 10 or 100.
The Village Anchor Restaurant and Anchor Bar on the main floor bring together stone, red leathers, rich worn velvets, wrought iron, dark woods, Italian appointments, Carrera marble, and the original crimson red beer taps from Churchill Down’s Silks Bar. It offers an upscale-casual, fun environment with an inimitable European flavor and exotic French flair.
The lower level Sea Hag Pub offers a completely different look and feel. The “Hag” brings together brick, worn woods, hand-wrought iron, stone, and copper to drive a more traditional pub setting. The 30-foot copper bar showcases 62 beers and 55 bourbons; while built-in ice troughs chill your favorite brew
